Dear brothers and sisters,

It is cold, but, the homeless are still out there and they need food, clothing, and most importantly Jesus. If the “pandemic” couldn’t shut us down, the cops couldn’t shut us down, then certainly the cold weather won’t shut us down either!

Last Saturday I was preaching at our regularly street service and I saw a young man listening to me while he ate. When I finished preaching, I went over to him and he shared with me that he wanted to receive Jesus.  Wow, I thought, this isn’t every weekend that people call upon the name of Jesus, so I was honored to take him through a Romans 10:9 prayer to receive Jesus. He called me shortly after that looking to get involved, what a promised next step, praise God! Please be praying for Austin, as he wants to change his life and do the Father’s will.

We’re looking forward to the “Jericho Freedom March” February 20(Saturday) and hope that you join us in serving the marchers, we’re meeting at Edmonton’s Legislature building for 3pm. MISSION7 is setting up tables to serve hot chocolate, hand warmers, and snacks at this event, join us in a day trip leaving around 11am and returning late that evening. If there are some who can’t make Edmonton but still desire to serve in Calgary, I’m aiming to have a small team to serve some food and coffee on our corner for our regular Saturday outreach, please let me know.
